This is a set of instructions for custom drafting the single pattern piece needed for this bias cut coat.  It has no shoulder seams but does have side and sleeve seams with gussets and can be done with or without a front facing and/or a collar.  Length of sleeves and hem length can be varied for many different garment types. With just 7 measurements and a straight edge, the coat is drawn to fit quickly and works well in most fabrics.  The bias will drape more with softer fabrics for blouse or dress versions or less with more firm coating fabrics.
